Dr. Elona Prroj is the founder and director of the “No Blood Feud – Yes to Life” Foundation. After the devastating murder of her husband, Pastor Dritan Prroj, because of blood feud, she made the extraordinary decision to forgive the man responsible and turn her pain into purpose by establishing this transformative foundation dedicated to breaking the cycle of revenge and offering holistic support to families affected by this tragic reality, especially in Northern Albania.

Previously, she served as Senior Pastor of Word of Christ Church in Shkoder for 25 years. She also held the role of Vice President of the Evangelical Alliance of Albania and served as a board member of World Vision, contributing her leadership and vision to both national and international ministry efforts.

Dr. Prroj holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in PTSD. Her expertise has been pivotal in trauma-informed care, notably during her work with Afghan refugees in Albania, where she provided support to individuals navigating profound loss and war displacement.

An Associate of the International Foundation, Dr. Prroj regularly engages with parliamentarians, political figures, and business leaders across Albania and the Balkans in discipleship and nurturing groups, fostering community and spiritual growth.

As an ambassador of reconciliation, Dr. Prroj shares her compelling message of forgiveness and hope on international platforms, including the European Parliament, the Swiss Parliament, the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., and other high-profile forums and podcasts.

Her unwavering commitment and tireless service among the poor and marginalized have brought her wide recognition, including the prestigious Mother Teresa Gold Medal, presented by the President of Albania in honor of her outstanding humanitarian impact.
